Major-General Letson served in the Canadian Militia 1910-1946, served in W.W. I and in W.W. II as Military AttacheĢ, Adjutant General, and Chairman of the Canadian Joint Staff Mission in Washington, D.C. He served as Secretary to the Governor-General of Canada, 1946-1952.
